Your data belongs to you. Here is exactly how we ensure it stays that way.

1. 100% Local Storage

ReticulOS is designed from the ground up to be a completely offline-first application. All of your notes, links, images, and collections are stored persistently in an embedded local database directly on your device. We do not offer cloud syncing, which means your data never leaves your computer.

2. No Telemetry or Tracking

We do not track how you use the app, what you save, or when you use it. There are no analytics scripts, crash reporters, or tracking pixels embedded in the ReticulOS binary. What you do in the app is your business alone.

3. Local AI Integration

Any AI processing explicitly advertised by ReticulOS happens entirely locally on your machine via downloaded, localized AI models. Your clipboard content is never sent to third-party endpoints (like OpenAI or Google) unless you specifically configure and opt-into those features in your advanced settings.

4. Data Export and Deletion

Because your data lives entirely on your machine, you have complete control over it. You can export your data at any time, or delete the local database file to permanently erase all your saved items.
